Simone was born in England and then moved to Australia where she trained under Vivienne Dunn and at the Victorian College of the Arts.
At the age of 18, she played Victoria (the white cat) in Cats in Australia and Asia and then reprised the role in Hamburg, Germany. She went on to play Iris in Fame in Australia, Asia and Cyprus. Other theatre credits include Patty Simcox and Marty in Grease - The Mega Musical and Happy Days - the Arena Spectacular.
Television includes: In Melbourne Tonight, Hey Hey It's Saturday, The Footy Show, Live and Kicking, Sale of the Century, Good Morning Australia, The Good Friday Appeal and New Faces; not to mention numerous television commercials and video clips.
On her return to the UK, Simone has worked on the films Beyond the Sea starring and directed by Kevin Spacey and choreographed by Rob Ashford, and The Phantom of the Opera directed by Joel Schumacher and choreographed by Peter Darling. Last year she played Gemina in the hugely successful A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at the National Theatre.
