New Orleans will host an all star lineup
featuring MiG with singers/songwriters
Toby Lightman and Julian Velard, and
Louisiana native Marc Broussard. Proceeds
from the show will be donated to Music
Rising, a campaign founded by U2’s The
Edge in 2005 to replace the lost instruments
of the musicians affected by the hurricanes
that devastated the Gulf Coast region.
ON FRIDAY, MARCH 2ND, MiG, Toby, Marc
and Julian, as well as Hard Rock Café
employees, will join Habitat for Humanity
to help build Musician’s Village in
one of the most in need sections of
Louisiana, the Upper 9th Ward. This
new construction will consist of Habitat-constructed
homes for displaced New Orleans musicians.

Hey everyone,
The MiG album is finally mastered and everybody who has heard the finished product has been blown away. It has far exceeded my expectations. It is a truly beautifully crafted work, and is a tribute to all of those who worked on it. It really deserves the best chance it can get for everyone to hear it. As I am travelling around the US on this mini- ROCKSTAR tour, it has become clear to me how important it is to play gigs live, and how I'd like to cover as much of the country as humanly possible. That's why we've decided to push the release date back from the original August 22 date. We are working on releasing something very soon to showcase what the album is about, but to really give the album it's best chance to succeed, we will not be releasing the album in August. I want more time to play my music live first, so plans are being made to go and do this properly. I am excited about the prospect of bringing my music to you personally. So please sign up for the latest MiG updates to find out what we'll be doing. Thank you for all your support. You all ROCK!

Universal Announces first Single Release:
Aug. 22 Universal is exclusively releasing "Baby I Love Your Way" to Yahoo Music.
On 8/29 it'll be available on all digital vendors - iTunes, Napster, Real/Rhapsody, MSN, etc.
Yahoo Music is a subscription service - which means if you're subscribed, you can hear the song with no restrictions on # of times played. If not a subscriber, you can still go to their software and hear a :30 clip of it, or download the track for 99 cents.

MiG has been in Studio B at Capitol Records in LA. They were laying down some of the drum tracks with John (JR) Robertson. They are also mixing the tracks MiG recorded with Matthew Wilder.
